Wherever there is Krishna, the master of all mystics, and wherever there is Arjuna, the supreme archer, there will also certainly be opulence, victory, extraordinary power, and morality. That is my opinion. - Bhagavad Gita 18.78
“Our Mission is to Present, Preserve, Protect and Promote the Principles and Practices of the Universal Dharma, in all its dimensions”.
As per Vedic understanding serving humanity is serving Bhagavan (GOD) and vice versa. Serving is the inherent nature of the Atman (Soul) and the very essence of humanity
Serving the needy gives true happiness and the best form of service is spiritual awakening, which is the source of everything else in the universe
We have three categories of services in VFA
VFA is a Non-Profit Organization with 501c3 and tax exempt status. It’s a Cultural organization based on Socio-Spiritual-Scientific understanding. It was founded by Stephen Knapp, David Frawley and Beth Kulkarni in the year 2002, on the day of Dussehra, at Detroit, Michigan-USA. Currently it is led by Benny Tillman (Balabhadra Bhattacharya Dasa), with HQ in Atlanta Georgia USA.
Bhagawad Gita is the basis for VFA along with other Vedic scriptures. The essence is Always Being Conscious of Dharma. We accept and respect all Vedic traditions and paths. We are open to all, with focus on Yoga Practitioners and Vedic Followers.
There is no membership fee; we are fully dependent on generous donations from patrons. Members volunteer their time and energy for the benefit of society. We have an open door policy, where all ideas are welcomed and we are not involved in any type of political activism
