About the Event

Brannon Parker is a researcher and author of 3 books. He has written many articles featured in various magazines, academic journals, media, and news publications. Born in Atlanta, GA, Brannon grew up in Zambia Africa, Kauai Hawaii, Dallas TX, Vrndavan India, Los Angeles CA, and Quebec Canada. As a child, Brannon spent 10 years living in an Indigenous North Indian Dormitory school studying Sanskrit, Hindi, and ancient Vedic literature. While there, he received formal Harinam Diksha (Initiation) from A.C. Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada and was given the Sanskrit name of Vrndavan. At 18 years of age, he moved back to Hawaii and it was there that he met and received the Gayatri Mantram from Bhakti Sundar Govinda Maharaj. In 1999 Brannon began studying the ancient world’s originally interconnected Sacred Traditions under the Guidance of Sri Bhakti Ananda Goswami. The 2012 publication of the Serpent, Eagle, Lion, and the Disk represents a culmination of Brannon’s own research combined with his study of key elements of Bhakti Ananda Goswami’s thesis. Currently, Brannon lives in Sammamish, Washington, USA. Brannon speaks Japanese, Hindi, Urdu, first spoken language Hawaiian Pidgin. A life steeped in a truly vibrant rainbow of Multiculturalism. Recognizing the many commonalities between the diverse cultures, religions, languages, and people of the world, Brannon has spent decades researching and writing on the topic. This website serves to catalog these writings.
