VFA condemns the recent violence unleashed by jihadi elements against the peace-loving minority Hindu community of Bangladesh. Numerous Hindus have been killed, temples destroyed and many left homeless by mindless mobs of fundamentalists. VFA urges the Bangladesh government to take appropriate steps to protect and rehabilitate the Hindus and assure them all help including moral and monetary. We also urge the honorable PM Sheikh Hasina to make sure her administration apprehends the culprits, who are responsible for creating social disharmony on the false pretext of desecration of the Holy Quran. All right-thinking Bangladeshis should come forward and console the minority Hindus.
